If you already have a Universal Analytics property set up, it will continue to operate as usual and you will be able to track data in parallel on both the GA4 property and the existing Universal Analytics property. If you do not have an active Universal Analytics property, you will only have the GA4 property as a new implementation.

Which option is better for my current analytics tracking, migrating from Universal Analytics to GA4 or setting up a fresh GA4 property without migrating?

We usually suggest setting up a new GA4 property instead of migrating from Universal Analytics, as GA4 and Universal Analytics have distinct data models. But If you would like to move your existing data to GA4, we have a migration plan available for that as well.
